East Lancs Divers is created for the recreational diver who wishes to dive on a regular basis in this country and abroad at an affordable cost. Our aim is simply to offer the best products at the great prices. We only sell products that we believe in.

We believe that recreational diving need not be expensive. We have a vast amount of diving gear and our staff and members have a tremendous depth of knowledge about diving and can guide and assist you; whether you are a beginner or a more experienced diver we have expertise in all fields of recreational diving.
Learn to Dive
The Open Water course takes a few weeks in the pool, followed by teaching and an exam in the classroom where our instructors will help you. Then the four open water dives at Capernwray, an inland dive site near Carnforth. Once you have met all the performance requirements your will be certified as an Open Water Diver, a qualification that is recognised world wide.

Dive Training
We have a dedicated team of trainers, including Staff instructors, speciality Instructors, Open Water Instructors, Emergency First Response (First Aid and CPR) Instructors and Divemasters who have world wide experience and a love of diving to pass on to new scuba divers. They give up their time freely to the club.
The club can offer training in the following PADI courses: -
- Bubblemaker (For children 8 to 12)
- Open Water and Junior Open Water
- Advanced Open Water
- Rescue Diver
- Specialities to Master Scuba Diver (this is the highest non-professional PADI rating)
For the diver who wants to become a professional we also offer: -
Divemaster and can assist you to Assistant Instructor or onto Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI).
We can also offer crossovers from BSAC or other qualifications to PADI but we welcome all divers to just come and dive with us.
Emergency First Response (EFR) courses are also available. Primary and Secondary Care and Care for Children.

Equipment
At ELD we do have equipment for hire and sale. However, we do not sell you the latest fashion wear or diving gear at inflated prices. We will not give you stars or points or credits to get you to buy more we simply want to sell you a great product at a competitive price. If you need advice then we are more than happy to share our thoughts and recommendations.
Servicing
We have are own in house servicing department and can service most make of regulators and cylinders. We are certified ASSET technicians. We only use manufactures own service kits and pride ourselves on the quality of the servicing that we provide. For more information on servicing click Cylinder and Regulator Servicing
Dive Club
We have a very active dive club and dive regularly both in the UK and abroad. We have a membership system that offers discounts and freebies such as free air, however what makes our club are the friends that we make and the laughs that we share.
