All the course available are all very competitivley priced and are professionally organised with our own club members who are fully qualified instructors with a vast amount of experience in all the different diciplines available from East Lancs diving Club.

We also welcome divers from alternative diving organisations who would like to continue their diving but with a PADI certification which is the most recognised diving certification throughout the world.

You can come along to the pool and experience a session where you will be shown the basics of how to scuba dive, this will allow you to have an underwater experience which is confined to the pool under supervision.

Now is the time to dive into the PADI Open Water Diver course, the most popular diver training program in the world. This is your ticket to a lifetime of intense adventure with PADI, the dive company that sets the standards in the global diving community. As a certified PADI Open Water Diver - the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world - you have the freedom to dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres independent of a PADI professional.



PADI Advanced Open Water
£135.00

Take your diving to the next level with the PADI Advanced Open Water course. Over the course of two days, you'll get the opportunity to experience new and exciting types of diving whilst honing the dive skills you learnt on the PADI Open Water course.

This course comprises of five dives - two compulsory (deep and navigation) and three elective dives of your choice (choose between wreck, drysuit, multilevel, search & recovery and more!). After your five dives, you'll be more experienced, feel more comfortable underwater and simply enjoy diving more! Although there's no final exam, this course does require home study.



PADI Rescue Diver
£185.00

The PADI Rescue Diver will expand your knowledge and experience beyond purely recreational level because you'll learn to look beyond yourself and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence. Subjects covered include self-rescue and diver stress, emergency management and first aid procedures for pressure-related injuries. A seriously fun course!

IMPORTANT NOTE - In order to enrol on the PADI Rescue Diver course, you must hold a current first aid/CPR certification such as the Emergency First Responder course detailed below.



PADI Divemaster
£270.00

Take the first step in your dive career and become a PADI Divemaster. Working closely with our PADI Instructors, you'll expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills as you become a dive professional. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. Here's your chance to get a true 'hands on' feel of how a dive centre works!

Members who wish to do Divemaster for other reasons such as going to work abroad PADI Divemaster £350.00

PADI Specialty Courses

Dry Suit Diver
£50.00

If you're planning to dive in the UK then a drysuit is a must. This course is designed to be an introduction to dry suit diving and to help the student diver develop the skills, knowledge and techniques necessary for dry suit diving. You'll learn how to master bouyancy control with a dry suit, how to look after your dry suit and more.



Emergency First Response Part 1&2 with CPR

The Emergency First Responder course gives you the tools you need to perform CPR and First Aid. Whether you're a diver or a non-diver, Emergency First Responder prepares you to handle potentially life-threatening situations.

Note: this certification (or equivelent) is required in order to enrol on the PADI Rescue Diver course.



Deep Diver
£130.00

This course is designed to be an introduction to deep diving and to help the student diver develop the necessary skills, knowledge and techniques to safely participate in deep diving activities to a maximum depth of 40m.



Enriched Air Nitrox
£145.00

This course is designed to qualify recreational divers to use enriched air nitrox for no stop recreational diving. The programme addresses the use of enriched air with 22 percent to 40 percent oxygen, with emphasis on enriched air with 32 and 36 percent oxygen. The course emphasizes the theoretical and operational considerations involved with enriched air diving.

Peak Performance Buoyancy

The purpose of the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course is to polish a diver’s buoyancy control beyond the Open Water Diver level. The goal of PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy training is to enhance the student diver diver’s buoyancy control abilities through knowledge development and practical skills practice.



Wreck Diver

This course is designed to be an introduction to wreck diving and to help the student diver develop the skills and knowledge necessary for safe wreck diving. The course covers the planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of wreck diving. Subjects covered include the preparation and use of lights, air supplies, special equipment, penetration lines and reels as well as limited-visibility diving techniques and emergency procedures.



Search & Recovery

This course is designed to be an introduction to search and recovery diving and to help the student diver develop the necessary skills and knowledge for safe search and recovery diving. You'll learn the proper techniques and safety considerations for object location including the use of various search patterns, lines and reels. Once your object is located, you'll learn the proper techniques & safety considerations for recovery of objects using various lifting devices.
