Cressi-Sub
Fins . . .
Here we have a selection of the 2005
range of Cressi Sub Fins.

Pro Star Pro
Star
Rondine Pro Star is the latest innovation by Cressi
regarding closed-foot fins. It derives directly from
the revolutionary manufacturing technology and materials
that produced the Gara 2000 fins and subsequently Master
Frog, Space Frog and Rondine Pro Light.
Rondine Pro Star is made from a special high-tech polymer,
that is extremely lightweight but at the same time very
penetrating, which makes it indisputably superior to
the classical EVA copolymer, normally used to make fins.
Further, the blade of the Pro Stars boasts an exceptional
innovation: a differentiated thickness. In fact, the
blade is about 4mm thick in proximity to the foot and
becomes progressively thinner towards the edge of the
blade, where it becomes half as thick.
This revolutionary innovation makes for an even lighter,
flexible and penetrating blade at the end, while it
offers considerable resistance in the connecting area,
which must not bend at all during kicking.
Like all the Frog series, the foot pocket, made from
soft elastomers, extends along the lower part of the
blade, so the blade itself remains undisturbed by the
presence of the foot pocket. The blade ends up with
20% more useful surface, which in practice translates
to more efficient thrust.
The foot pocket has been redesigned, increasing the
width and changing the form. The Pro Star are therefore
extremely comfortable as well as being very easy to
wear.
We would also like to point out the longer blades structure
that does not stop at the front section of the foot,
but continues right to the end of it, increasing the
longitudinal firmness of the blade itself and making
it possible for perfect transfer of the muscular work
of the leg to the fin.
The extension of the side protection in black elastomers
is both useful and attractive; it also runs along the
front side of the blade and provides effective protective
action.
Who they are designed for All those divers who prefer
closed-foot fins and who expect top performance. Apart
from the long Gara 2000s, the Rondine Pro Stars are
the most powerful fins Cressi has ever produced, also
suitable for use in scuba diving and very satisfactory
for every kind of activity: skin-diving, snorkeling
and for popular use.

Rondine
A Rondine A
An innovative fin in look and performance. Made using
the exclusive Cressi moulding system with 3 different
materials (patented), it fully responds to the needs
of modern divers. Although size and weight are contained,
the Rondina A is the essence of state-of-the-art technology
that is hard to equal.
The blade originates from the upper part of the foot
pocket, with a 20% increase in useful surface area compared
to a traditional fin of the same length. The foot also
has a differentiated thickness and gets thinner towards
the edge to guarantee greater and more uniform bending.
The side stringers are made from two different materials
that alternate with each other and overlap in different
zones to obtain a structure with controlled flexibility
in the different areas of the blade.
The anatomic, computer-designed foot pocket is made
completely from thermo-rubber for exceptional comfort
and blockage of the foot, guaranteeing transmission
of the leg-fin thrust without dispersion. New up-and-over
adjustable quick-release buckles allow ideal positioning
of the strap on the heel. A new system of buckle locking
prevents the possibility of falling off, even if the
fins are unbuckled.
The result of all this technology is a fin that offers
excellent thrust, without too much effort, perfect for
beginners as well as more experienced divers.

Pro Light
Pro Light
A highly advanced design for this fin that is moulded
from two materials with very different characteristics:
a strong polypropylene for the blade and soft elastomers
(thermo rubber) for the foot and protective inserts.
The result is an extremely light and well-balanced fin,
of average size, with surprising reaction time and a
formidable thrust.
The side stringers that extend all along the blade and
two flaps situated along the end of the blade itself
make the fin very directional.
The blade originates from the upper part of the foot
pocket, with a 20% increase in useful surface area compared
to a traditional fin of the same length.
The foot pocket is computer designed and guarantees
ideal transmission of the leg-fin thrust.
The lightness and perfect balance of the materials,
together with the extremely modern design, make Rondine
Pro Light a generous fin that provides exuberant performance
without too much physical effort. These fins are perfect
both for beginners and for professionals and are very
common amongst instructors and technical divers

Frog
Frog
A classic in the Cressi range, this has been on the
market for many years and has a huge number of appreciators
in every corner of the planet. The fin is made with
a skilful combination of a strong copolymer and a soft
elastomer, the latter used for the foot pocket, for
the side stringers and for some inserts. The blade originates
from the upper part of the foot pocket, with a 20% increase
in useful surface area compared to a traditional fin
of the same length.
The foot pocket is computer designed and offers great
comfort; it guarantees excellent transmission of the
leg-fin thrust.
The Frog is heavier than the more recently designed
equivalent Cressi models. It is this feature that makes
it agreeable to whoever uses very thick suits or watertight
suits.
Anyone who works underwater will appreciate this fin
a great deal because it is strong and comfortable, very
popular also in diving schools and excellent for rentals.

Master
Frog Master
Frog
The first strap-on fin, moulded using the exclusive
and patented Cressi system with 3 materials.
The blade is made from strong polypropylene with unequalled
reactivity, stringers and reinforcements are moulded
from resistant copolymer, while the foot pocket is made
from soft, comfortable thermo-rubber (elastomer).
The rather long blade, deriving directly from the Gara
2000 model, makes it possible to get the most out of
the exceptional flexible-propulsive power of the material.
The foot pocket is computer designed and highly anatomic,
guaranteeing perfect blockage of the foot and enabling
ideal transmission of the leg-fin thrusts.
Master Frog is the thoroughbred of the Cressi range,
in the category of open-heel fins. Its power is proverbial,
also due to the lightness of the fin that reduces the
inertial masses to the minimum, to the full advantage
of the thrust-performance ratio.
This is the favourite fin of instructors, professionals,
technical divers, who find a propulsion tool without
equals, ready to push ahead like a galloping horse even
in the toughest diving situations.
The absence of side stringers in the final section
of the blade makes it possible to sideslip the fin easily
in the water, alternating strong strides with breaststroke
to break up the continuity of the strain and to be able
to kick indefinitely.
